Cancer is a journey. The guideposts along the way are our relationships with others and with ourselves. What seemed to be in the distance is now close. What was on the itinerary for later now stands before us. Through the journey our choices may narrow but the most important one is still ours to make: how to approach each moment.

After my sister Teresa's brain surgery for Glioblastoma Multiforme she personally designed and wore several hats to cover her sweet, bald head and to keep her spirit uplifted. They read, 'Attitude is Everything', 'Empower the Healer Within', and 'I Came to Dance!'. 

One day we spent eight hours in an emergency room. Forgotten and ignored, we could have been upset and reactive. Instead we felt inspired and used that time to begin to develop a line of products for people with cancer. We wanted to encourage them to focus on the possiblities; an approach Teresa and I used to facilitate our own healing on many levels. What you see on the 'Affirmations' page of this web site are some of the ideas that flowed from us that day in the hospital. Teresa's approach to life and to life with cancer encouraged countless people! My hope is that you will find something on these pages that will support and inspire you or your loved one as you embark or continue on your journey. The most important thing to carry with you is not available here. I am referring to your own heart, open wide, to receive life's precious gifts! May you be uplifted on the wings of hope!
